A beautiful city with amazing views of the Pyrenees.
A beautiful city with amazing views of the Pyrenees. Beautiful city to walk around with very friendly locals. Very easy to get to by train and the train station is only 5 minute walk to the city centre.
Plenty of great places to stay and eat.
Great place to sit outside in the sun for breakfast is Le Poulet à 3 Pattes and make a reservation if you can.

I visited this city second time because of trip to Artouste.
I visited this city second time because of trip to Artouste. You have to stay in Pau. I was travelling by train. It is very pity that there is no coordination between train and bus connection. I mean public transport. Especially if you want to travel to Artouste from Bayonne par example. It is not possible to combine the different transport and to change plans of the trip because of weather.

Pau is a charming small city near the Pyrenees.
Pau is a charming small city near the Pyrenees. It's a 90 minute drive to the Atlantic Ocean. There is a lovely chateau and an art museum in the heart of the old city. Architecture is similar to the turn of the century Paris. Les Halles is a covered permanent market place where vendors sell their food items 6 days a week. The way the produce, fish, cheeses etc are displayed is worth seeing, Lots of restaurants. I don't think of it as a destination location, but a great place to visit for a couple of days.
Clean, modern, comfortable. A very enjoyable stay.
We had a spacious room on 2nd floor. Bed generously sized/comfortable. Shower excellent. Very nice to have a coffee machine in room.
Also liked the choices of comfortable foyer and landing seating areas.
Gated parking and electric car charging points available.
On site restaurant w a discount for residents helps the fact that the hotel is situated away from other restaurant choices and a drive from the town centre.
Handy for road travel links
A well-designed and modern motel-like set-up, the hotel is located in a quiet area on an attractive plot. Parking is plentiful and in a gated enclosure. Marc made us most welcome, although we arrived early. The beautiful pool was an obvious attraction for us, with loungers, parasols and towels provided. Some shops and an eatery are close by, and each room has a separate kitchenette. Pau is the most attractive city to visit, and Hotel Eden Parc is ideally situated to explore the whole region.
This is an excellent choice, especially if you want to cater for yourself and are not bothered about being in the centre of Pau. For me, the location is good but it may not be to everyone's taste especially if you've come to see the historic centre of the city. As I've stayed here before I knew what to expect: a really clean mini apartment, with really great facilities, and run by supremely professional people.
The hotel is in downtown Pau, within easy walking distance from the Promenade and interesting parts of the City. The Staff were extra friendly and helpful. When we asked what we should see, the young woman gave us a map and drew a walking tour on it for us. Our room had plenty of space and the public rooms are attractive. The breakfast had good variety. I highly recommend it!
Easy to access, on the outskirts of Pau. Convenient stopover before crossing the Pyrenees. Provided all the basics. Private parking near the front door of the hotel. Kettle and snacks provided in the room was a plus. Restaurant onsite (we did not use it, but we could have). It happened to be near two stages of the Tour de France, which added interest. Helpful host.
Good size room, beds so comfortable,
Breakfast was basic but it was better than nothing.
Not too far from Pau train station about €15 by taxi. We stayed over to watch a rugby game at Stade Hameau Stadium, 10mins walk from the hotel.
Hotel is safe and secured in the night. Gates closed and locked in the night with security guard that control the gate.
We had booked for 1 night and ended up staying for 3 because our car broke down. The help and consideration we received from the proprietor and staff were off the charts and very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Pau. It was very good value for money in a great location.
Reception staff very friendly and helpful.
breakfast buffet was excellent, and probably best of all was the free ( and secure ) private parking which if not available would have made things difficult so close to the town centre. Modern clean room, looked newly decorated.
Would definitely visit again if in Pau.
The location cannot be more central for Pau. Easy walking access to practically everything in the centre of the town. The bed was comfortable and there are 2 TVs in the suite and they both support Chromecast. Internet was good and fast.
hotel in beautiful setting with view of the mountains. Our room was lovely and clean. As our French wasn't good enough we had a bit of a problem with breakfast. Otherwise everyone was very friendly and helpful.
Lovely hotel in the heart of Pau. We really enjoyed our few nights here. The room was spacious and we were upgraded so we had a lovely view over the parc Beaumont.
