Our first visit. A really interesting mix of architectural styles and topography. Wonderful weather helped but I doubt that is unusual. Restaurants everywhere! We took a few short excursions by train and found that service very good and straightforward. A great deal of history and plenty of things to do. Very walkable if a bit hilly in places, if a problem take a tram!

Lisbon is a wonderful and historic city to visit. The people are friendly and helpful, even with the language differences. The waterfront area is very walkable and taking the tram a unique experience. The restaurants and coffee houses are plentiful and make the walking an even more enjoyable experience.

Lisbon is a treasure trove of beauty, culture, international cuisine and wonderful, welcoming people from all over the world.Transportation is well organized(and fun, especially the vintage trams)but seeing the city on foot is best, if you have sturdy walking shoes: Lisbon’s fascinating sidewalks and old cobbled stone streets (and hills!) are not old-foot friendly. The Gulbenkian Museum and gardens are a world class treasure, not to be missed. And a night at a Fado Cafe!

I spent about 5 days in Lisbon and 3 in Porto. I enjoyed getting to learn about Portugal in general - arts, culture, history and the food. Be prepared for the hills.. we visited Lisbon for the weekend and enjoyed it very much. the city is walkable, but there are metros to catch back from the riverfront as it may be a bit much to walk all the way there and back. there are also quirky funiculars to take you up the hill for Euros 4.20 return. the castle is a nice stroll up the hill! luckily there are bars up the top to catch your breath and quench your thirst. come back down the other side through all the narrow streets. Beer and Gin are expensive but food and wine was reasonable. public transport also very reasonable. the little red and yellow trams are expensive and a bit of a tourist trap. would recommend a visitpaulUnited Kingdom

This old office building was completely renovated and converted into a hotel with a great restaurant and bar. For a 5 Star hotel, the price was unbeatable. I cannot say enough good things about our stay and will definitely book this property the next time I’m in Lisbon.

The very quiet room had an “office” area and a fantastic shower in the bathroom. There wasn’t much to see through the windows, but I was there to walk around. One of the best breakfasts ever. More a boutique hotel with some facilities, but a wonderful stay.

Everything you see online is the same you will see when you check in. The hotel is very clean and the staff is polite and helpful. The location is probably the best possible especially if you are coming from the airport. The red metro line takes you all the way to the hotel and the remaining 3 lines intersect also there - so every part of Lisbon is a few minutes away.
