Beautiful location in a small and charming village in the Burgundy area. Jean Luc provided us a very warm welcome and help for a restaurant reservation. We (and our dog) had an immediate homely feeling. The breakfast next morning in the beautiful garden was a real treat. The apartment is tastefully decorated, cozy and spacious.

La Grnde Grange is way out of villages, the road is small and the farm with the charming little house we were welcomed in by Aurelie, a warm, friendly and very relaxed host is very cute.
The amenities were spotless and everywhere we looked there were charming little extras, we had a lovelyroom with two comfy beds, a bathroom and toilet, lots of space around and an excellent breakfast on top of all with a nice conversation. Would go back there any time...

The location in Saint Fargeau could not have been better. The host, although not present because of family problems, was most helpful by txt and telephone to make sure everything happened as it should do, such as gaining access to the property and ensuring breakfast was organised. The building was all you could expect from an old French house where Joan of Arc reputedly stayed. It is also ideal to visit the Guedelon project which is only a few miles away and was the reason for our stay.

The property was so beautiful, finished to a high standard and very clean. We used the hot tub and the BBQ. Even dressing gowns were provided. The beds were very comfortable and being in the middle of nowhere meant it was very quiet. The host was there when we arrived and handover was very easy and pleasant. We stayed with our two children aged seven and ten. Can highly recommend!
