The room had everything you needed, was a good size and well presented. The property was within a 10 minute walk to explore the surrounding old town. The off street parking was really convenient and ensured we avoided the ZTL. The staff was responsive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again.

Modica town is quaint and has lots to offer to the tourist. It can best be explored on foot though you will need a car to go from Modica alta to the lower area of Modica. Modica has many churches and eateries as well as shops and the narrow streets are fascinating and always offering lovely surprises. It is a hilly town so not ideal for the elderly tourst to get around unless they get a taxi

Very nice city split in two parts, Modica alta(hill) and modica bassa(old town), long corso for nice promenade for shopping and eating, many old interesting buildings and monuments, turistic train running around the city, defintely 1-2 night to spend worth it.

Modica is a very interesting town.
Modica is a very interesting town. For older people the steps and steep roads and streets might be challenging. The green tourist “train” gave a good overview of the histoic centre of the old town. Modica is famous for its chocolate - tours need to be booked at least 24 hours in advance.

Modica is so unique.
Modica is so unique. Our first view of the steep hillside of buildings took our breath away. Our phones weren't helping us get there so we drove down from the alto section to the bottom through the town. That was amazing. Just looking up at different times of the day are worth the experience.

Unfortunately we visited Modica on a rainy day so our experience was dampened a little. It looked like it was full of historical interest and of course it's famous for its chocolate if you like their style of chocolate!

Modica was the perfect Baroque city to locate in to explore the other cities and the beach. The location to bus station and train station was convenient to do daytime exploring. The city had a good mix of tourist stuff and regular people shops and restaurants.
Mostly I cooked in my apartment but I took day trips every day.
Perfect farm based property built in the mid 1800's.
Giancarlo, although not fluent in English is a dab hand at translating via Google and we shared a few good laughs.
Room has mosquito netting so the windows can be opened however the pesky bugs were already present and bit a few times this is to be expected anywhere in Sicily.
Breakfast was absolutely perfect and all made by giancarlo who explained some tips and tricks alongside some more laughs via Google translate.
Wonderful, tastefully designed modern and newly furnished apartment on the 6th floor. The stunning view over the old town with the sunrise and being woken by nearby church bells was just magical. Everything was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The memory foam pillow and an extra pillow were a luxury touch we didn’t expect.
The host, Federica, was exceptionally helpful and kind, making the experience perfect. We just wished we could’ve stayed longer…
Everything! The view from this location is mind-blowing. Gianpiero was SO helpful and accommodating, and we cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough.
The family have owned and lived in this beautiful Palazzi for many generations and the property history is beautiful. The Palazzi is amazing and close to everything you could wish for. Modica is an extraordinary place, and you must go. Just Book!
I love Modica Boutique Hotel. Modern , clean, staff all well mannered and Luca & Lorenzo speak english . secured parking is underground and accessed with lift. the breakfast is fresh and a vast variety of food & cakes . Water Machines are on every floor and guest can go and fill up the empty two glass bottles provided free of charge. I will be back and recommend to others for sure. See You :)
Lovely room with kitchenette and small balcony. All this and Rita, the interesting and well traveled host, who prepared a great breakfast. Location was good; it's central but not smack in the center so can get a real taste of Modica life. Also, each room has own entry, which minimizes contact in this awful social distancing times.
Awesome place for the money.
We especially loved the view from the small terrace and the bright room attached. I also quite loved the little kitchen too. It felt like my granny's home with all the comforts. The wifi was some of the best we've had in Sicily. There is also a grocery store at the end of the street which was handy.
Casa Sipione Papa totally exceeded our expectations. The room was large and beautiful, the view from the balcony was magnificent. It was situated just beside the most important attraction of Modica - Duomo of San Giorgio. We ate breakfast in a lovely nearby cafe - Bar del Duomo.
The host was pleasant and welcoming and gave us good advice on local activities we were seeking, the place was fabulous - a restored old estate with original flooring, beautiful back and front gardens and terrace, and it's situated just outside Modica.
Everything was perfect, the hosts and staff were amazingly friendly, the room was perfect for the town and had stunning baroque features.
It was so good to be at the top of modica, so close but just far enough away from the hustle and bustle below!
Everything was great! Quaint little house with a very Instagrammable terrace. Washing machine also a nice touch. Giovanni was super helpful with recommendations around Modica and one of the friendliest faces we've encountered so far in Sicily!
Beautiful property. Located perfectly in the heart of historic Modica. Go down to the Concurso to shop and eat. Go up to the Castle and sites. The veranda overlooks the downtown. Grab a bottle of wine and sit there in the evening.
Beautiful garden, possibility to park car in nearby garage, best breakfast we had in Sicily. Bed was fit for taller people. Close to city centre. Friendly and helpful host.
