The welcome and helpfulness of the whole staff team, from the welcome from Gael, the cleaners, bar manager and staff were exceptional. It felt like we were at home!
Situated in the pedestrianised medieval quarter of Sarlat-la-Caneda, the Hôtel des Récollets is a former convent from the 17th century. It offers air-conditioned accommodation with free Wi-Fi.

The staff was very helpful. I asked for an early check-in, and they made extra efforts to make it possible. Had a very pleasant stay with them
We had a fantastic time at Les Hauts de st Vincent.
We had a fantastic time at Les Hauts de st Vincent. The hosts were polite, welcoming, warm, and attentive. The breakfast was amazing with homemade yogurt, spreads, fresh fruits, even the tea was so tasteful. The room was nicely decorated; beds were extremely comfy; bathroom was sparklingly clean. Nothing negative about this place, maybe the drive was a bit challenging, but the view and the hosts made up for it. Thank you for letting us have a wonderful time at your place.

Saint-Vincent-de-Cosse is a very small, quiet village set back from the road with a few houses and a church. Apart from the pool in our hotel there was nothing to visit by foot. We had to drive to nearest attraction, restaurant etc.

The Dordogne is my favorite areas of France.
The Dordogne is my favorite areas of France. We have been several times and there is always something new to see or do. We have been to many of the caves, so this time we kayaked on the river, visited Chateau Beynac, and walked through Sarlat and Les Ezyes. We had two fantastic meals while there. One at the hotel which was fun and delicious. The other was at the Michelin * restaurant Vieux Logis in Tremolate.

If you like the luxury of a few days in a chateau in the Dordogne, this is for you. Saint-Vincent-de-Cosse is a small village nestled at the base of the hills surrounding the larger town of Beynac. The castle is of Renaissance construction, light and airy, which has been totally renovated into an impressive hotel and restaurant. The area is sprinkled with chateaux of various periods and provides those interested in architectural history much to discover and explore. In a different vein, we walked for 10k in the hills at the back of St Vincent, (which has an interesting little church with contemporary Stained Glass) following the designated Nordic walking route. A great stop off area on our route back up to Calais.

Excellent chateau Hotel in the Dordogne close to the river, and opposite to Chateau Milandes, the former home of Josephine Baker, and a short 10 min drive to the centre of Sarlat. We had a splendid room on the second floor with fine views to the spectacular Chateau de Beynac from our window and terrace. The associated restaurant was excellent with a superb wine list. The chateau had an fine library/ lounge room on the first floor.
Beautiful grounds and buildings, large and comfortable room, gorgeous modern bathroom, excellent service, convenient location. The bed was perfect. There is an excellent restaurant, as well as breakfast with many choices and helpful service. Staff told us about the conveniently located (and free) spotless laundry facilities, helpful after a week on the road. Wish we would have stayed longer at this hotel.
A stunning property in a fabulous location near many historic villages in the Dordogne.
The hotel restaurant is excellent the staff are super helpful and friendly.
One swimming poo lis adults only which is great for a peaceful stay.
The rooms are spacious and clean with modern features. Plenty of safe parking
We stayed 4 nights and wished it was much longer
We will certainly return
The restaurant is expensive but well worth it. A gastronomic adventure. Breakfast was complete and in a wonderful setting in the chateau. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean, quiet and with a nice big bathroom. Much better than the photos posted by the hotel. Two warm water outdoor swimming pools and large gardens. Efficient, friendly and helpful staff.
The rooms were very well-done with comfy beds, an excellent shower, and good air conditioning. It was a delicious and well-prepared breakfast. It was lovely sitting outside and enjoying the view. We highly recommend the hotel to any family or couple. We wish we could have stayed another night so we could have enjoyed some of the activities at the château.
Unbelievably beautiful views, an extraordinarily gracious host, charming location, super comfy bed. We were greeted with fresh grape juice from a local vineyard and everything was exactly as stated. One of the best stays we’ve ever had at a hotel or BnB. I am still dreaming about the view. Can’t wait to return!!
The hotel was beautiful and quite breathtaking arriving! Our room was lovely and clean, maybe just a little small but my husband is 6ft4 so takes up a lot of room! Check in was really smooth and the receptionist was really helpful. Breakfast delicious and the restaurant onsite was really lovely too.
The location was wonderful, the grounds were very nice and the rooms were very good. Good central location to check out the sights along the Dordogne River and the hill towns in the area. Food options nearby were good and close. We could see something like five chateau from where we were staying.
Wonderful and beautiful location and hotel amenities. The family room in the chateaux was surprisingly spacious. The breakfast was tasty and varied both for kids and adults. We liked the two pools, the playground with the ball net, and the efficient laundry room which we could use for free.
Beautiful setting, characterful and charming building/setting. Very clean, lovely room and other areas available. Breakfast was a great selection of high quality food and eggs cooked fresh.
Recommend the area and specifically the hotel!
Beautiful renovated chateau with great taste for decoration. The property is also lovely, with the pool that unfortunately we couldn’t use because it was still April (and chilly). Our bedroom had a beautiful view of the Dordogne River.
High class hotel in beautiful and interesting Dordogne.
Nice and well-equipped rooms in the castle area.
Very friendly and service-oriented staff.
The hotel has a very good restaurant, good food and good local wines.
The hosts were delightful and exceedingly helpful to us. The breakfast was delicious. The setting by the river Dordogne was ideal and offered easy access to the nearby sites.
Marvelous place, clean, beautiful, helpful staff. Great restaurant on-site. 2 heated swimming pools. Would be great to spend a week and relax while exploring Dordogne valley.
The location and facilities were perfect! The reception staff and cleaning crew were phenomenal!!!! We highly recommend both the hotel and their restaurant!
