We always stay at the Wilsonton when in Toowoomba. The location suits us as it's always quiet, you can eat at the restaurant or they deliver a meal to your room if you're tired. Staff are always lovely. Rooms are always comfortable.

We had fantastic stay at the Shamrock, rooms are newly renovated and are modern, spacious, and spotlessly clean. Beds were comfortable and all the expected amenities like tea, coffee, milk and even bickies close at hand. Room had a huge brand new Philips Smart TV (At least 40”+)mounted on the wall. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I travel with an accredited Service Dog, even though it wasn’t listed as dog friendly, the Shamrock were very accommodating, and let me know by email that everything was ok with my booking. The location is very good walking distance to the city centre and shopping centre. I highly recommend the Shamrock Hotel Motel. Next time I’m in Toowoomba, I will definitely be staying at the Shamrock Hotel Motel again. Thanks Again. AAA+++

Clean towels provided. Fridge in communal kitchen was clean. Self check in/out was easy and the instructions texted were clear.
I liked having the sink in the room. last time there was hand soap provided which was great, and would have been good if provided this time but wasn’t.
This is budget accommodation so as long as you remember this, then you should have reasonable expectations.

Toowoomba is within easy reach of people from Brisbane or other parts of Southern Queensland looking a short break. The city is large enough to have the facilities and entertainment options for travellers, and small enough to get around easily. If you are travelling during one of the major events during the year, such as the Carnival of Flowers, it is essential to book accommodation in advance. I visited recently during the Toowoomba Marathon, which is a sizeable event but does not result in crowding. Public transport is available in Toowoomba, but has limited operating hours on some routes, so taking your own vehicle or a taxi can be necessary for some trips. Two attractions which are most appealing are the Cobb and Co Museum and, if you are going to the cinema, the historic Strand cinemas in the city centre.

My accomodation at the met hotel the place is not what it is advertising. In Toowoomba be aware you must have funds for parking.thete is no free parking on offer. Also be aware youth crime rate high do not keep valuables in full vision. Do not walk arround on your own of evening Toowoomba is a really good place for shopping and eateries. I would recommend the post office hotel or coffee club for a good coffee and egg Benny

Toowoomba is great.
Toowoomba is great. Smaller than the likes of Brisbane city, but bigger than the average country town. I'm a fan, we'll be back.
Toowoomba is very easy to navigate, being mostly laid out in a grid pattern. Easy to walk around the heart of the city for shopping and food.

It’s very diverse, lots of sightseeing, plenty of places to go and eat. The Asian gardens are at their best in spring and autumn as they are my favourite time of year.
Has some great places to go shopping. Once of the main road through town the side streets look pretty with all the jacaranda trees that have been growing for over a hundred plus years.
If you want to see them in full bloom then visit for the yearly flower festival held every spring.

Toowoomba is a great town.
Toowoomba is a great town.
I love the way that it has retained much of it's heritage and feel of being a big country town rather than a city.
Locals are friendly and helpful, streets are wide and parking is easy.
I will be back...
The location was great as Ruthven street is a main street in Toowoomba and if you drive either up or down it you find supermarkets, The CBD and easy route to out of town places you want to visit. There is also a Chinese restaurant right over the side street from the units. It was amazing to have a really good breakfast supplied each morning in a dining room which reminded me of life in the 1900s when people stayed in hotels with meals supplied! Very nice indeed.
A lovely hotel virtually next door to Toowoomba Central Plaza so in a great location as well as easy walk to the main street and all the restaurants, pubs and eateries. The hotel is beautifully clean and well maintained. Staff were very polite and called me up the day before just to check on our bedding configuration (travelling with family members) so we couldn't have asked for better service.
The hotel room was beautiful, modern and clean and contained more than expected and everything we needed. Excellent facilities but it was too cold to swim. Fantastic time spent in the bar chatting with Marcus, a fantastic and entertaining host, not to mention a great pizza chef. Can't wait to visit the Athena at Roma. Don't miss an opportunity to stay here when in Toowoomba. Our new favourite.
had a family room. son was very happy in his own space. our room was quite tight with 2 suitcases ( but could have put these in the sons room which was the lounge room as well not a biggy)
The couch was a pull out couch and uncomfortable to sit on as seat cushions did not push in so were overhanging and you felt you were going to fall off.Other than that we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.
True older style units BUT the cleanest we have stayed in for some time now. Comfy bed great shower preasure. All staff friendly can't complement them enough. Stayed twice this mth + another booking for the end of August + I will add probably the cheapest in Toowoomba. Close to shops + eateries, what more can we say. Well done, Management + Staff 🥰🥰🥰
Rooms are nicely self contained and isolated from outside noise. Even though the main road is outside, you can barely hear it! Nestled across the road from the Royal Hotel, it's a wonderful little spot to have a bed for the night after celebrating with friends and family.
Staff was very responsive to my multiple requests. Good value for money; as the cheapest option in town, it fills an important role for independent solo travelers. Excellent location, near commercial center of Toowoomba and just 4 minutes walk from the main bus station.
Location was very good easy to get to & car park good no worries. when you know your way round Toowoomba simple
breakfast was great we were able to get our own. I was lucky enough to arrive when cleaner was there so she opened door.
2 bedroom room was very comfortable and roomy - it was great to have 2 queen beds in each room along with a TV - the shower was great - overall very clean apartment. The location was excellent, close to food options and shopping.
Well positioned for our stay to visit family. Great restaurant in the hotel across the road. Easy to find. The room also had cooking facilities and a table and four chairs. Bed was comfortable. Parking right to the door.
It was a comfortable size for our family. The hotel were able to provide a cot and extra linen. The bottles of water in the fridge were appreciated after walking around looking at the flowers all day. The beds were comfy.
The location was perfect. The hotel is located close to the main road into Toowoomba and has plenty of choises of food outlets close by. The hotel also has its own great restaurant which we enjoyed.
The breakfast choices were good and the food was good quality.
The location of the Hotel is in the CBD of Toowoomba which made it an ideal place for my trip.
