On approaching the hotel after parking our car my grandson...
On approaching the hotel after parking our car my grandson exclaimed that it looked just like a castle ! And he was right. The reception area was very spacious - long marbled floor hallway with elegant sitting areas and play areas for the children (games and books) with the dining restaurant and breakfast room situated off the hallway; very light and spacious. Ermelo itself was a short drive away with plentiful places to eat outdoors, many people taking advantage of this being a Saturday night. Lots of people on their bikes, hardly any cars most being left in the parking areas. We are looking forward to returning in December.margaretUnited Kingdom

We appreciated a lot the privacy, you have your own garden and private terrace to have breakfast , lunch and dinner outside. You can walk two minutes and you are already in the forest! The cherry on the cake, a sauna in the garden! The check in and check out process were very easy and the communication with the owner was super smooth! Our dogs had a place to stretch their legs and we had the jacuzzi to rest our muscles after a long day of running. The kitchen and bathroom were great. Nice kitchen (although there is no microwave or freezer). Living room was big and the chairs were comfortable. Good WiFi. Quiet neighborhood. We accidentally locked the keys in the house and the hosts retrieved them for us and returned them to the lockbox.
