The location of the hotel was not as convenient as expected. Because we were pushing a stroller, there was no elevator at the nearest subway exit, so it was not convenient. If you don't have a stroller, it should still be possible. After getting out of the subway, walk to the underground shopping street, find the exit, and go back to the hotel directly.

I loved Nagoya. Locals are so friendly - we were looking for a place to eat and a very kind gentleman from the government building actually came up to us and asked us if he could help us. Even though he was working, he took 10 minutes to show us which direction to go for Nagoya castle, and explained to us how the card system works. Japan is amazing. Thankyou for your wonderful hospitality.

Nagoya is the best city I’ve ever been.
Nagoya is the best city I’ve ever been. It’s busy environment, crowds, great sceneries, transportation system and offcourse the city illumations are really heart throbbing. It deserves one time visit in a life time. I’ve even been to Tokyo’s Ginza, Shibuya, Shinjuku but my personal experience is that Nagoya is much better and convenient then them.

Nagoya's not like your other big cities in Japan (like Osaka, Kyoto, Tokyo, Fukuoka). There aren't many standout sightseeing spots or the like, so it might feel a bit dull if you are expecting those. But it is an excellent city to vibe in. Enjoy Japanese culture on a more relaxed - less touristy - way.

Nagoya has a lot of cool areas and walkable zones. Less than some of the more touristy cities in Japan, but definitely worth visiting and exploring. Lots of tasty food and the district near my hotel was actually really pretty despite being more industrial than commercial.

We didn’t have much time to explore Nagoya as it was our starting point to travel to Shiroko for the Formula 1 race at Suzuka Circuit (Thurs- Sun) We did see a lot of Nagoya Station as we arrived & departed from there, walking to the apartment on arrival and back to the station on departure. It was an easy walk, not busy with many pedestrians until nearing the station. We went to the mini marts (7 Eleven also) numerous times for food and drink which we carried home. Also had meals at several of the restaurants nearby. A great location and wonderful accommodation! Would highly recommend.

Nagoya is a city without too many visiters compare to Tokyo or Osaka. It's just perfect for us to visit. It has lots of sightseeing places, like legoland, wild animal park, shopping centers, etc. We will revisit this city in near future.
The hotel and room feels like brand new, everything is so clean and the bed is comfortable even for 2 adults and a child. The staff is also very helpful. Coin laundry is available although I did not use them. The location is a short walk from Nagoya station with many choices of food and the area is very safe. The Lawson store next to the hotel is really great to grab any snacks and drinks. The shower strength is superb too. Cleaners will leave a fresh set of towels and water at the door if you choose not to make-up the room for the day.
The hotel is pretty new and very clean. Automated check-in/out with minimal contacts with the staffs. Staffs speaks Japanese but very helpful. Free breakfast provided has a good spread of varieties. From 2 om to midnight, they provide free coffee, self serve at your convenience. Room was bigger than hotel in Tokyo, comfortable bed and bathroom. Nagoya was snowing on one morning, it was beautiful. At Nagoya station, take the Taikoi-dori exit, turn right, cut through the construction site, cross the road and walk straight ahead.
Nice, clean and well furnished room with enough space for large suitcase. Bed is comfortable with clean sheets and sleepwear provided, bathroom is good. Staff are friendly and the included breakfast is good.
Hotel is close to Fushimi subway station which is only one stop away from Nagoya station and also near to many popular areas in the city. There's many restaurants, shops and convenience stores in the neighborhood.
Went to Nagoya just for the Ghibli Park, but the hotel was quite nice and comfortable. About a 5-10min walk from the station, it’s also close by to many restaurants and konbini’s. The room itself was fairly small but perfect for a solo traveller like myself.
The bed was pretty comfy, sheets and towels were changed everyday. There were also free amenities by the lobby as well as a coin operated laundry machine.
The hotel was very near the Nagoya station (accessible JR, Meitetsu, Kintetsu, local subway - railways and buses). Walking from the airport train exit to the hotel lobby was just a few minutes away. B1 of the hotel leads to the underground walkways of the station which provided short cuts instead of walking above ground. There were lots of food shops where you can buy bento boxes and snacks in the underground.
Stayed here coz we need to catch an early morning train at Nagoya Station. The hotel is just by the station, conveniently located at the entrance of Exit 4 of Esca underground shopping mall, 3-5 mins walk to station. If you have large luggage, take the escalator next to BIC Camera store which is just across the road from hotel. The escalator is not operational too early in the morning though. 😅
The hotel was easy to find from Nagoya Station and was located right above it, making it very convenient for us to get around. The concierge was able to store our luggages before check in and after check out which was very helpful.
Rooms were located on high floors with great views, and were clean with all the necessary amenities. One of the rooms had a washing machine in it which was useful.
The JR Hotel is conveniently located at the Nagoya Station. This seemed to be a newer hotel and very clean. There are many restaurants and shopping options available in the hotel to enjoy. The train station also has many restaurants and shopping options available. It was also very close to the attractions we planned to visit.
Great location - near Mirei Tower and nice restaurants and coffee shops, 7/11, Family Mart, Central Park, train station (Hisayaodori). Can reach Nagoya castle, OSU shopping, oasis 21 by foot easily. Comfort food(ish) daily free breakfast, happy hour, pajamas, helpful and friendly hotel staff. Comfortable bed.
Location was close to the station - but on the west (not so happening side). If I went to Nagoya again, I'd look for a place East of the station. There was a wide variety of amenties on the ground floor, like bath powder, face masks, and so on - which were way more than I've seen in other hotels.
The hotel is in a convenient location within reasonable walking distance of shopping districts and is close to Nagoya Station by public transport. The room was great and the self-serve amenities and free hot coffee/cocoa machine helped make this one of the higher quality hotels in Japan.
The hotel is just next to the exit of Fushimi Station. There are many convenience stores nearby. Only one subway stop from either JR Nagoya station or Sakae so plenty of shops and restaurants. There are 3 sets of breakfast to be selected, good if stay for several days.
Location is pretty nice. It's close to Nagoya station just walk for 5 mins. it's easy to access to the station. Also, there are three convenience stores around the hotel, it's quite close to go and buy something if you get hungry
Location was great since the hotel was near the Sakae station. Moreover, the hotel was also neat the Nagoya TV tower and the Sakae Chika underground mall.
