If you want a no frills basic overnighter this is the place. Most people use it as a stopover to or from the airport, or a highway stop to another destination, since it is not in the town center. However it is easy to get a 3 dirham taxi ride into town if you need to go. Great mountain view from our room, facing the Highway, a little noisy but totally bearable, and a short walk to a very pleasant park for a summer evening. Our host Mustafa and his son Ali were congenial and Ali made an acceptable standard breakfast for 3.5 euros.

Staff/host was very good. Picked us up from the airport and assisted us with our luggage to go to the apartment which was located at the top floor. Place was very clean. The breakfast was superb, the best egg omelette ever!

First Contact, from the reservation was an instant message, just how we needed, cause we were coming extremely late… MORAD, an amazing human, took such good care of us, welcoming us and a puppy with warm milk and dates, upgrading our stay, unbelievably polite, even late at night. So grateful we are… and planing on coming back. Shukran lake!

Only 10 minutes from the airport. I was in somewhat of a unique situation in that I was travelling on the first day of Ramdan. This made it a little difficult to get dinner since a lot of people are home to spend time with their families. The folks here did everything to help me feel at home and find some food options. I ended up with tea in the garden, lovely company from the owner's family, and a good pizza.

When we got to the room, dinner was served and waiting for us (bread, salad, lamb with vegetables, and a fruit dessert with yogurt). All the dinner was wrapped, covered, and still warm. I didn't eat or taste the lamb, but everything else tasted amazing!!!

He welcomed us to his hotel and has helped us with our travel plans. Younes offers support and help like a good, trusted friend. He has given us suggestions, arranged for transportation and has become our driver. Staying at Dar Yan has been the best experience. Very clean and comfortable! Highly recommend! 😍
