Skala is a really lovely place, with fantastic restaurants, cafes and bakeries. The food is really reasonable and Skala is easy to get around. We got the bus up to Argostoli for the day and it was really good to go up and see there again. The buses are a bit limited this time of year but we got a taxi back and it was well worth it for a full day up there. Skala is a really friendly place and you are made to feel so welcome. it is such a lovely place to visit and see with stunning views and lovely people.

Restaurants are excellent with plenty of choice, Flamingo our favourite, beach is long and easy to walk along. Central to visit other areas in south of island. Everywhere people friendly and welcoming.

It’s a great location.
It’s a great location. It has bars and restaurants but not big night life. Which I like. More family and friends & couples. Which makes the area even more special. No big groups of party etc. Any restaurant on the square is great. The pool and gardens were clean and well kept and the hotel staff were lovely. Yianna in Reception was very helpful and Alex and Anna were great at the pool bar. The hotel is 3* and is good by Greek standards. It doesn’t provide luxury toiletries, towels and breakfast but is clean, friendly and centrally located.
