Beautiful place, very comfortable, really lovely and welcoming host. The view is beautiful and the gardens are tranquil. I absolutely loved staying here.

Very good location in the mountains, the room is clean and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast offers some options, I would suggest some omlette, not only boiled eggs. The hotel has also a restaurant and a bar. If you arrive by train from Andermatt, you can get down at Acla da Fontauna station, just before Disentis, it's much closer than Disentis. I have also received a message from the hotel that they can provide free transfer from train station, but didn't require it since Acla da Funtauna is 8 minutes walking distance. I looked for this information, the breakfast time is from 7:30-10:30.

The location is out of a fairytale: surrounded by wonderful nature, peaceful and with plenty to do. The lodge itself is very tastefully made, comfortable with anything one desires. The highlight of our trip was the staff! They were all so welcoming, always smiling and very polite! We spent New Year’s there and although they were with us instead of their families, they were every minute of it in such good mood that their vibe was contagious! The bike room had ample space to store bikes. Thankfully, I didn't need any of the tools, but I was able to make sure my tires were topped off before any ride. The dining area is pretty great as well. You can easily find your room number on the table. The breakfast is perfect for fueling before a ride and the staff quickly tops off any drinks or items running low. Dinner service is also great with a handful of all delicious options. Conveniently, the funicular is also nearby so you can start your hike with a view of the valley.
