A truly delightful hotel just a short walk from the heart of Xi’an — the ancient starting point of the Silk Road. Our room was spacious and beautifully designed, with stylish decor that evoked the grandeur of ancient Rome — a fitting nod to the route’s distant terminus. Location was right above the line 2 subway line, which is where many of the attractions are. There were many bus options so well accessible by public transport. Plenty of food and shopping options around. Room facilities and heating were fantastic. There is a complimentary afternoon tea at 2-4pm everyday. Take note to request for a room not near the opera stage if you are affected by the noise during the day. We had a good chance viewing the performance from our room so it was a good perk for us.
