We absolutely loved the cooler temperatures. Be prepared for a unique experience…the shower had ornate ceiling with plants growing inside and up above. Breakfast was served “family style” and the owner/chef engaged with his guests. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. Surrounded by lush forest!

The room was spacious and nice. It is located in between a couple of amazing sightseeing spots and is great to use as a base camp. Kees, the owner, is really helpful and friendly. Even before the trip he helped us a lot with putting our trip together. And when a sloth was in the yard of the hotel, he came to show us.

The place is a green oasis of peace and nature. The location is great, and there are a lot of hiking routes at walking distance. Forest noises and colors will keep you company and help you relaxing.
