Huge apartment in a beautiful valley. 5 minutes from Constantina, so great for shops and restaurants. Lovely pool area where we spent most evenings because it was hot. Good kitchens and the two ensuites meant there was never an issue for bathrooms.

We booked our stay at Pórtico del Azahín very late in the day, and out of season, yet the hosts kindly let us stay and gave us the hostal to ourselves. It feels like a newly opened place – the entire interior and furniture are pristine, and the showers are spotless. The communal kitchen is fully equipped, and we were able to securely store our bicycles in the central open courtyard, which also has clotheslines. Everything you could need for a pilgrimage is here! Excellent all round – we would happily return.

A lovely building right in the heart of the village. The staff and owners were really helpful with storing my bicycle safely. The hotel restaurant was lively and popular for weekend mealtimes, obviously a very popular local venue.
