Very nice receptionists and very close to the best chocoloateria to start a day with churros) quiet, close to bus stop for train station or old town, supermarket, also, walking distance to museum of paleontology which is very good and worth going at least for the views of Cuenca and fun photos with dinosaurs. Quiet. The bed & pillows were comfortable. There is armoire with some hangers; always a plus. There is hot water, soap & towels. It's a 20-minute walk to the bus station. There is a TV & air-conditioner but I didn't use either. One can catch the bus to the train station at the Cervantes bus stop; about 15 minutes from the hostel. Plaza Mayor and Cuenca Cathedral is a good 35-minute walk, mostly up the side of a mountain.
