we were told we would have to pay £20 for checking in early so we could change for a funeral after a 41/2 hour drive but when we did check in the lovely lady on reception told us she wasn’t going to charge us.

We absolutely loved everything about this place from checking-in until leaving. Our dog liked it even more as he was spoiled with treats and a sausage for breakfast every morning. The room was one of the most luxurious we stayed in during our three week road trip through Spain, France and the UK and our dog had a bed, towel and bowls too. They even left a Christmas present outside our room on Christmas morning too! ;.)

The hotel is beautiful. It was all trimmed up for Christmas which was lovely. The room was comfortable and had a great selection of snacks and hot and cold drinks.

The receptionist, Millie, was very helpful, polite and friendly. Her colleague, Georgina, was also very polite and friendly when she phoned to enquire if we wanted to book breakfast .
