We had a wonderful stay. The staff was extremely friendly, the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the breakfast was perfect, with something for every taste. The restaurant is also highly recommended. All in all, a very pleasant atmosphere; we would come back anytime. Thank you very much.

Ellie provided us with a second room for our daughter as she didn't fit the crib (haha) and also let us in at 1 am as we neglected to get a door key for late return, what a nice lady. All the staff were excellent. Breakfast was excellent, beds were great, we will be back. Beautiful grounds and walking trails with a variety of birds to get you up in the morning.

Often it’s the staff that make your stay enjoyable. The room was spotless. Caroline very kindly allowed me to check in a little early as my room was ready. Alba welcomed us to Glenlossie and was a super host at breakfast. Breakfast was good too.

The hostess was wonderful when I took refuge at Craigadam after problems with two B&Bs in Dumfries. My room had a comfortable four poster bed, and a lounge area with a sofa - all very spacious. Breakfast was beautiful with lots of choice. The smoked salmon prepared at Craigadam was amazing. You can order dinner in advance. Three courses and the food was stunning. Fresh ingredients and a menu that changes daily. A beautiful garden around my idea of a country house, complete with billiard room. It's set on a farm in beautiful rolling countryside. From a New Zealand perspective, this was phenomenal value for money.

Large historic building, very impressive features, but decorated in a modern way. Although it wasn’t a cold November, a wood burning stove was lit in the dining room, giving the room a warm and cosy atmosphere. We had a delicious meal, perfectly cooked. The owner was very friendly and helpful, as soon as we had checked in, he took our luggage to our room without being asked. My husband is disabled but likes to do things himself even if he struggles so this was a huge help. All in all, a lovely overnight stay, I would recommend highly.

We were transferred from this hotel to their sister hotel The Sure Hotel Which was excellent. I have filled this form in for it. Great location, great staff, lovely food and a beautiful room 10 out of 10 for all.
