Firstly, the reception staff, Andrea & Roberto (?), are a great advert for the hotel. They are extremely friendly, helpful & cheerful. The hotel is just minutes from the autostrada but the rooms are quiet, a good size and comfortable. It is also very dog friendly.

lovely location out in the countryside surrounded by vineyards. very atmospheric inside, a traditional farmhouse. we spoke very little Italian and the owner very little English but we managed well. The restaurant was closed but they still made us a delicious plate of ravioli and insalata verde. the wine was great too. we felt really welcome. the day we left was the start of the terrible storm and I really hope everyone is ok.
