Massimo is a top host and a genuine, nice guy, his wife was also the same. They really made you feel welcome for the whole stay. The pool is the highlight for me, with a swim up bar and in beautiful grounds. Also the breakfast was superb. Excellent place to unwind and relax, ten mins into town by car and you have beautiful beaches and excellent restaurants. Only an hour from Rome this was a great find for the price.

Serpa Hotel is in Anzio, right on the seafront with its beaches. Offering free Wi-Fi throughout, it has a sun terrace, and rooms with sea views. Private parking is free.

We dreamed of ending our holiday with a pool, wine and Italian idyll. And we got it! What a lovely place though. We are sorry that we did not have more nights. The breakfast was wonderful, with a view over the vineyards. Before arrival, we were offered a wine tasting the following evening. Where we were allowed to taste the vineyard's own wine and get some food, with produce from the agriculture around the vineyard. The most wonderful experience. Azzurra was SO sweet. We got the nicest welcome. She sent us a long list of places to drive to for dinner the first night. Could easily come back

The room and the whole accommodation including the garden was of a very high standard and well thought out by the friendly owners. The best thing for us was lying by the pool and enjoying the day with the few other guests. It invited us to relax and in the end we didn't want to leave. Private parking at the property, excellent breakfast, big beautiful courtyard to have a walk. We were coming later in the night and they sent us detailed video how to find our room and key.
