Lovely studios and suites with a beautiful sea view. Beach was lovely and near. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were beautiful and clean. Bed was very comfortable. I booked first three nights but extended my staying for two weeks because I loved the place. It felt like being at home. Small kitchen in the room was great. There was a washing machine in my room which was useful because I travel with small luggage.

Popilia Country Resort is a 4-star property set 7 km from the seafront and a 10-minute drive from Pizzo Calabro.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at La Dimora del Generale. The accommodation is beautiful and modern, and I was fortunate to receive a complimentary room upgrade with a balcony. Alberto, the host, was incredibly friendly and attentive, making my stay even more enjoyable. The room was not only stunning but also well-equipped, offering a great view from the balcony. The location of the accommodation is excellent, perfect for exploring the area. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

Absolutely perfect. We have been in Italy from New Zealand for 3 weeks and this has been the best accommodation by far. Beautiful views, beautiful breakfast and beautiful people. Nothing was too much trouble. The pool was amazing, refreshing after a day of sightseeing. Our room was lovely, nice bed, great shower and quiet. 5 stars all around, better than any resort!!!! Thanks for having us.

Everything. The management were excellent from the minute we arrived. We had help with parking and our luggage. Much appreciated after a long drive. Nice central location with plenty shops restaurants and bars nearby. We would stay once again without hesitation. Our dog was also welcomed. Very handy location to return to motorway. Liked the spacious room with sofa and dining table. Felt more like an apartment.

We had to change our check-in time multiple times. The host was very accommodating of this and quick to reply to confirm the change. He also went out of his way to help us find a parking spot. The room was modern, spacious and well appointed. The bathroom featured a truly luxurious shower—the best one we experienced in Italy.

WoW , what a great place. Brand new and very clean and modern. And our host Walter was extremely helpful. I had a bad knee injury the previous day and 30 minutes after our arrival Walter took me to the local physiotherapist. Afterwards I had to go to the hospital and he even offered to go with me there, but I managed alone. He helped us with the suitcases and provided ice for my knee. Amazing host. Wifi is excellent. Breakfast is very good, with fresh croissants, bread and great coffee. Room is quite large, with a balcony and a nice view of the countryside. It's easy to find by car, entering Mesiano. It has a lot of space for parking - even with cover from the sun. It's a great location to visit Tropea and Capo Vaticano. I would give an 11 if possible. Mille grazie ! Will most surely stay here again when visiting Tropea.
