It was calm and the bed and room where really comfortable especially the cotton sheets. Perfect temperature and the balcony was just perfect to enjoy the view of the river. Located just before the park and the wall which is ideal. Walking distance to every attraction in town.

The building was beautiful, exquisitely decorated, and located in the city center. The staff was super helpful and kind. The room was very clean and had all amenities. I really enjoyed my stay.

This guest house is a great find on the Camino Portuguese. It was pouring with rain the day we arrived and we could get into the room, get the heating on and get our soaking packs and clothes dry! The room was spacious for a hotel room and the bathroom was well appointed. The lovely owner even organised to take us to a restaurant 1km away and then the lovely owner of the restaurant had his son drive us back again! It was also fabulous food! Breakfast the next morning was also great and the hotel sits amongst vineyards with beautiful views of the rolling hills around. The pool would be amazing in summer!

The place is wonderful and the bottle of wine and the charcuterie plate on arrival was a very nice touch. This is a great place to spend quite a few days.
