Aparthotel Ursprung enjoys a central location in Schladming and is only a 3-minute walk away from the Planai ski area. Complimentary WiFi is featured and guests can use the sauna. As an American family traveling through Austria, I can say that this hotel is fantastic. The office staff are extremely nice and helpful, and the rooms were a good size larger than most European hotel rooms. Easy walk to the shops and restaurants, and just a couple blocks from the Planai gondola. My only warning about the city of Schladming is that it’s difficult to find anywhere to do your laundry. There’s one tiny laundromat, with inconvenient hours, and it’s expensive.

The sauna and relax area was very good after a long day in the slopes. The cooler with different beverages was great when we arrived late.
