We were allowed to do (very) early check in and (very) late check out at no extra cost. This is our third time here and each time they have been very flexible to our needs. The public areas are beautiful and luxurious. Rooms are massive, largest bed I have ever seen, full 5* amenities and amazing bathroom (we had a jacuzzi.) Pool area is very special with lovely, lovely staff. Reception staff are amazing and accommodating.

This Steigenberger hotel is situated in the heart of Luxor and provides modern accommodation with stunning views of the Nile. The spacious rooms are air conditioned and feature satellite TV. Absolutely perfect hotel and staff! We have been traveling in Egypt for 2 weeks and that was The Best Hotel! Can recommend it and we are checking this chain in our next locations! 1.7 km from Colossi of Memnon, Bedouin Lodge Luxor is a recently renovated property situated in Luxor and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. This place is just amazing. Location is not convenient but this is why it makes it so good. Quiet and peaceful. I don't know what is best, the rooms, the food, the breakfast, the staff or the place itself. Just wonderful experience.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, river view and a patio, Luxor Rose Villa is located in Luxor. This place is amazing. It's very quit, right behind the waterfront on the west bank where there are a bunch of nice places to eat. A pretty garden and the pool was very enjoyable. Wifi worked well, and smart tv with youtube and netflix was great for entertainment and getting some history lessons before visiting the sites. Just walk out the door and for a buck or 2 you are on the other side of the Nile or within moments you'll find a taxi to take you to the valley of the kings. We loved it. Owner was very communicative, speaks good English and always responded promptly via whatsapp. 10/10

Boasting mountain views, Full Moon House provides accommodation with terrace, around 3.6 km from Colossi of Memnon. With lake views, this accommodation offers a balcony. Very welcome people! The hotel is very clean and the view excellent !! Also breakfast at the rooftop!!

This historic hotel is a luxury landmark built in 1886 in distinctive authentic Victorian style. This was our third stay at the Winter Palace. Need to say more? Okay! Historic hotel. Superb location. Oasis of comfort and style. Gorgeous building and garden. Love the bar. Perfect choice for sightseeing on the East Bank. Breakfast in the room before heading off to Karnak Temple at 6am to beat the crowds. Excellent hotel!

Boasting barbecue facilities and views of garden, Eldeak hotel apartements is a recently renovated apartment situated in Luxor, 3.3 km from Colossi of Memnon. The area is very quiet, and the staff are extremely respectful and kind. The apartment was very clean, and all the furniture was new and well-maintained. I was supposed to leave the city at 11 p.m., and the checkout time was 11 a.m., but they kindly allowed me to stay as long as I wanted for free. The breakfast on the rooftop was simply incredible — both the food and the view were amazing.

Featuring river views, Golden Palace Family offers accommodation with free bikes and a balcony, around 3 km from Colossi of Memnon. We loved everything! Walid and his family were so kind and helpful! He's an architect of the Arabic design style, and those elements are everywhere. What a beautiful space! Also, do not miss the opportunity to have dinner and breakfast added to your stay. The family does an amazing dinner cooked with wood fire underground. They allowed me to video the process, which starts hours before dinner. Truly one of the best meals of our trip in Egypt.
