This place offers excellent value for money, providing a peaceful escape in the heart of a lively city. The room was authentic, clean, and quiet, with windows that allowed us to sleep with fresh air, thanks to the included mosquito netting. The breakfast was good, featuring omelets, snacks, and a falafel option instead of meat. Enjoying breakfast on the rooftop with a stunning view of the Nile was a highlight. The hotel is easily accessible by public ferry, followed by a short walk across the small island. Despite its size, the island felt calm and welcoming. Mohammed, our host, was incredibly helpful, offering tips on local attractions and transport. He also gave us guidance on prices to avoid being scammed, which was much appreciated. He organized a trip to Abu Simbel for us and even packed a breakfast for the journey. A thoughtful surprise was the boat transfer to the hotel on our arrival day, especially since our flight was delayed, and we were exhausted. It was a much-needed gesture. Overall, a fantastic experience with personal touches that made our stay memorable.

Watching the sunset from their terrace is truly magical. The food is delicious and freshly made, but what really makes this place special is the people. The staff are incredibly warm, kind, and attentive. A special thank you to Asma, who greeted me so warmly at reception, organized my airport transfer, planned my morning visit to the temple, and helped with every little request. She was always available, caring, and made sure I felt completely comfortable during my first time in Egypt.

Staaaffff what a great group of people they were very friendly very helpful and very kind to top all of that 4 . Mr. Nasser which is a great person ,helpful ,kind and smile bringer 5. Owner of the guest house Mr . Waleed is very kind and very helpful man ( he helped me puying some top quality spices and brought me a boat cruise for a very good price ) 6. Lamiaa the receptionist with the great smile kind attitude and warm welcoming 7. Mohammed and Mahmoud of the buffet they are the best 8. Top quality of food the chef was 👌 9. Amazing room space and cleanliness and one of the most amazing room views I have ever had Over all it was an experience that would never be forgotten with evey detail of it and actually I stayed there for 7 nights but I didn't want to leave at the end of the reservation that's how I was attached to the place

Featuring city views, MAGIC GUEST HOUSE - Δ Relax Pur Δ 15 MiN TO ASWAN features accommodation with patio, around 17 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum. It was newly renovated and clean. The rooms had big comfortable beds. The German host was very attentive and helpful. The place is out of town, but it is easy to locate and get to (we considered it as advantage as our main goal was to visit Abu Simbel). The price is very reasonable compared to other properties around Assuan.

He is a great host and very hospitable, and we felt very loved during our stay. The family is wonderful, his brother Siko is also a great company, and his wife is a wonderful cook that prepared amazing fresh fish and breakfast every day. All our trips were organized with Mustafa on his various boats, and we were able to go places we didn't even imagine. The memories of the days in Elephantine will feed our wistfulness until we are able to return. The rooms were big, clean and super comfortable, very well equiped. The rooftop is the crown jewel, with the amazing views, privacy and good vibes in general, we loved spending some mornings and evenings there. With the help of Mustafa, we got to see wonderful hidden things in Aswan on the great boat rides he would take us; we visited the Nubian Village, walked around and met great people; we tried the amazing nubian coffee and got a sense of a slow paced life on the shores of the Nile. A very big and warm thank you to Mustafa and his family for making this trip to Aswan the highlight of our trip to Egypt. It will definitely stay with us for a long time and we will return to his lovely home as soon as we get a chance.

We were lucky to witness a Nubian Wedding ceremony at the luxurious activity area if the resort. Was stylish, amazing and simple- just a true representation of the Aswan culture. Basma Hotel offered guided tours to historic attractions in and around Aswan, leaving you with opportunity to explore and learn more about Egyptology and a 7000 years’ civilization. The unique touch about Basma Hotel is the care and attention they embrace you with even before your arrival. I was amazed to the welcoming scene at my room which left me speechless ( a nice welcome message written with flowers on bed). The place was a true destination for comfy stay and a relaxation after busy months of work. The scenic view of the pool from the rooms is a reminder of heavenly delights. Sitting by the pool morning or night time is a definite feel of joy, company and romance. I did find it a reward beyond expectation. And for sure Basma Hotel Aswan will be a number 1 choice for any visit to this magical city.
