After a long day everything was a bit of a blur, a super friendly person at reception waited patiently while I fiddled around unburdening myself from my backpack completely out of breath from climbing the stairs into town. The hostel had proper beds (3 to a room), great showers, proper sheets and towels, with a small but perfectly adequate supermarket just around the corner. A bunch of us from all over the world ended up enjoying a staggered dinner around the table.

There are two large rooms with 18 bunks in each one. Each bunk has sheets, pillow, pillow with case, cover/blanket, a towel and a locker. The facility is clean, modern and has a lovely sitting area. There is a well equipped kitchen, as well as breakfast for a small fee. Although the lady who checked us in didn't speak much English, we were able to communicate using Google Translate and lots of hand gestures. All of this was done with a good sense of humour and lots of smiles.

It’s an architectural masterpiece. We were lucky to be there before the busy season. Beautiful meals, breakfast delivered each morning. Plenty to see in the area. The view from our terrace was stunning. Lucia looked after us really well.
