Lietsu Boutique Aparthotel - Huoneistohotelli Lietsu is located in Joensuu and features a shared lounge. Cozy breakfast area. Rooms with all appliances you could need (stove, fridge, microwave, washing machine, dish washer). We got a nice sauna time with river view. Rented bikes provided for free for a lovely trip around town!

Excellent location close to nature with the gorgeous Linnunlahti beach very close, but at the same time the city center is just a short bike ride away. Very good facilities (including a private sauna!) and friendly service. They rent out bicycles which is really nice for those without a car. It was a really good place to stay with kids.

Docent's Flat is a recently renovated apartment in Joensuu, where guests can make the most of its free bikes and garden. I really liked the apartment. It was clean. Also, the free parking space was a plus. The apartment had everything you might need while staying. I received a quick answer from the owners to all my questions. I recommend it.

Boasting lake views, Rantahuvila Virranniemi offers accommodation with a private beach area and a balcony, around 15 km from Saimaa Canal Museum. The facility was outstanding! Based on pictures, I was not sure about the place and the number of beds available. I invited some family to join us and was apprehensive about what it had to offer until we got there and I realized we had an absolutely wonderful place practically on the water. It had plenty of space for everyone and all the amenities were wonderful. It has a large sauna, three showers, a full kitchen, plenty of outdoor decking right down to the water and a row boat. We used all the facilities and had an absolutely wonderful time. It was so quiet and peaceful although it was close to a city. There was very little noise other than birds and some motor boats on the water.

Spahotel Casino is located on a private island on Lake Saimaa, 500 m from city center of Savonlinna and the 15th-century Olavinlinna Castle is 1.5 km away. The room we were given in was outstanding with an exquisite view over Lake Saimaa. This was the best view we had from a hotel in our trip through Scandinavia. The staff was very accommodating and the breakfast had a large variety! The location of the hotel was perfect.

Hotel GreenStar Joensuu offers affordable, eco-friendly accommodation in Joensuu city centre, only 75 metres from the Carelicum Museum. Location near the marketplace and waterfront are perfect. There is a shared kitchenette on every floor with plenty of refrigerator room (microwave but no stove). The beds are more comfortable than most others we experienced.

Excellent location, easy access and parking, vey good breakdast, nice staff, good and easy to use services

Set in Lappeenranta, 400 metres from Lappeenranta Harbour, Boutique Hotel Lähde offers accommodation with a garden, private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The location was excellent......right beside the lake and harbour, and within easy walking distance of the town centre, fortress and swimming area. The hotel is a beautiful old and very quaint building. The room was really nice and bright, but not very big. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and well equipped. The breakfast was excellent.

Set in Taipalsaari in the Southern Finland region and Lappeenranta Harbour reachable within 17 km, Hostel Mansikka offers accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground, a private beach area... Room its a beautiful wood cabinet with microwave, freezer and kitchen amenities. Owner its a friendly person, always speaking us in a good manner. Pets are allowed. The landscape around the hostel is simply beautiful. Good place to take a rest. Good price
