Privacy and tranquillity in the nature. Indipendent and with private entrance. Comfortable bed and hot shower. Charming exterior garden with place to eat outside and bbq. Nice pond in the property, for a pleasant walk. Horses beside the house very friendly and super cute cat. No flies or mosquitos in the house..beautiful surprise! Very nice breakfast available. We will love to come back for a longer time. Very nice host!

We stayed one night at this hotel and it was exceptional. Spotlessly clean room, air conditioning that worked well (what a relief with 38C outside!), we slept a solid 10 hours and had an amazing breakfast the following day. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Michelle and Bruno are the most wonderful hosts. We felt like we were welcomed into their family home, eating and dining with them as well as other guests in other rooms. It also gave us a good chance to practice our French! The food was very special, we had a 3 course meal, with local produce, local wine and Michelle’s home cooking. The room was absolutely beautiful, spacious and comfortable, we felt very spoilt - definitely good value for money! And on top of that, they have 2 donkeys! Thank you again, we couldn’t recommend this stay enough, especially if you are cyclists like us, looking for a good rest stop on your way to the Alps.

The host Didier couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. He provided us with clear instructions on how to access the property and gave us many recommendations on what to visit and places to eat in the local area. He met us during our stay to double check everything was ok. The house is very well equipped, very spacious, comfortable and has a lovely garden with a small pool. All bedrooms were light and airy. Quiet rural location but easy walk to a boulangerie, cafe, small supermarket and a leisure area by the river (hire bikes and kayaks). We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay at Maison de Violette.
