Hôtel & Spa Le Bouclier D'or is located in the historic La Petite France district in a 16th Century building, a 5-minute walk from Strasbourg Cathedral. Centrally located in the old town, the hotel was charming and the staff went above and beyond to be helpful and friendly. We had a beautiful room and a lovely breakfast. The whole hotel was lovingly decorated in a christmas theme during our stay.

Château de Pourtalès is located in the north area of Strasbourg. It has witnessed years of European history, welcoming some of the most important musicians, philosophers and poets. It is a real castle, no doubt! We had a room in a wing, with AC, the biggest bed ever, very good breakfast.

All was of best quality. I especially appreciated room upgrade and advice on traffic in Strasbourg.
