Featuring 4-star accommodation, Douglas House is located in Castle Douglas, 26 km from Dumfries and Galloway Golf Club and 28 km from Dumfries and County Golf Club. The owner, Kate, was absolutely lovely and made my stay perfect. The breakfasts had so much choice and Kate provided me with Oatmilk for my coffee. The Scottish smoked salmon with scrambled egg was excellent. Room had everything you could need and all clean. Easy free car parking right outside.

A wonderful log cabin on the Ewes Water near the town center. Well equiped, clean and very comfortable.

Staff were really friendly and accommodating, the bed was really comfortable, the room was really spacious and the shared kitchen space had everything you need and was very clean

Set in 18 acres of private parkland, Hetland Hall Hotel serves local produce on its Scottish menu. Overlooking the Solway Firth, this hotel also has an outdoor children’s playground. The room was absolutely lovely and very spacious. Great beds, lovely bathroom, could have stayed there forever! Breakfast was very good, excellent food also for dinner and very reasonable prices. The bar was fantastic too, again, with absolutely reasonable prices. Staff were very nice too and very welcoming. If we ever happen to be in the area again, we’ll definitely come back!!
