From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. The owner was absolutely amazing – so welcoming and helpful. The cottage itself was perfect; it had everything we could possibly need and more. It truly felt like a home away from home. We had an absolutely fantastic time, and it made our Valentine's Day extra special. The location was also ideal, being close to both a pub and local shops, which was very convenient. We will definitely be booking Acorn Cottage again, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway, especially those wanting to explore the beauty of Sherwood Forest.

Everything, was a lovely place, quite and peaceful, lovely cabin very clean and modern, helpful staff, beautiful well kept farm.

With a traditional restaurant and real ale bar, Staunton Arms offers modern rooms with free Wi-Fi. A little gem of a place. Very conveniently, owners and staff were friendly and helpful from first to last. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, with all the facilities you could possibly wish for. The drinks,meals, in the bar was excellent, will be returning in the near future.

Willow Tree Cottages, a property with a garden and a terrace, is situated in Newark upon Trent, 30 km from Lincoln University, 33 km from Sherwood Forest, as well as 41 km from Trent Bridge Cricket... Sue is a wonderful host - kind and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble - from early breakfasts to going out of her way to help us with a dietary request. Highly recommended

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Sunset garden retreat is a recently renovated homestay situated in Morton, 32 km from Lincoln University. Alison was warm and welcoming from the get-go. Very easy to communicate with and clear instructions on check-in and stay. Nice cozy place with a well equipped bathroom, all facilities basically available. Would come back and visit in a heartbeat.
