But let’s try to write some more words about it. It is the most decorated place we’ve been to with Booking (and we’ve been to many places). The pool - infinity one, open to the view of fields, with cutest sitting area next to it. Amazing. Welcoming: waited for us next to the parking, brought us crib for our infant though we didn’t ask for. In the apartment there were cakes waiting for us. The apartment is with living room connected to a kitchen, with a sofa converted to a bed, and another room with double bed. Huge public and private areas outside the apartment. Kalamata Marina is about 20 minutes driving, and a big supermarket in 4 minutes.

Situated in Artemisía, 24 km from Municipal Railway Park of Kalamata, Denthis Hotel - Taygetos Mountain Getaway features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a... Absolutely amazing place. The hotel located in the middle of the Taygatos mountain, not far from Kalamata, is incredibly comfortable. After a beautiful visit of Mystras, the way through the mountain to get to Denthis hotel is breath taking. We were welcome by the three most adorable, smiling and welcoming ladies who immediately did everything they could to make our stay wonderful. We had the most comfortable modern hotel on one hand and the charm of a family hotel feel from those ladies on the other hand, and that was magical. Being able to swim in the pool after a hot and exhausting day was so invigorating. The breakfast is varied, generous and delicious, served on a terrace with a nice mountain view. Very nice dinner too. The Suite bedroom is a must, spacious, high-quality linen and cushions, very comfortable, with a large terrace. We slept like babies. Our 10 years old son loved the place and the kindness of the staff. We will definitely be back, but we will stay more than one night this time. A big thank you and bravo to the Denthis ladies!

Set in Finikounta, 1.8 km from Mavrovouni Beach, Foinikounta view provides air-conditioned rooms and pool with a view. Foinkounta View was so lovely we decided to stay an additional night. It is up the hill from the town, but easy to find using the Google map provided after booking. We did arrive when it was still light out so that helped too. The town is around 10 minutes away and has a nice beach and lots of choices for going out. The hosts were very gracious and provided a very nice, included breakfast which included Bougatsa and Saganaki as well as delicious yogurt and other items. Our room had pool, garden and sea views, was roomy and modern.

Situated in Marathopolis, 300 metres from Lagouvardos Beach, Lagouvardos Village Hotel features accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. This is a small and quiet hotel. We had a lovely time there. The service was excellent. Especially Adonia who was always there taking care of all our needs. Thanks for a lovely stay.

With sea views, Kotroni Villas is set in Finikounta and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, outdoor fireplace and children's playground. It’s in a very good location for visiting various beaches. The Villa is kept spotlessly clean and the garden is very well maintained. The morning starts with homemade breakfast hot from the oven with fresh eggs, fruit and vegetables. Unforgettable!!

Set within 1 km of Pantazi Beach and 44 km of Caves of Diros, Nikoloudi Estate features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Agios Nikolaos. We liked EVERYTHING! From the simple check-in experience all the way to the fact that the house was cleaned every other day (5 times during our 10-day stay), together with towels being replaced, coffee pads filled up etc. The house itself is wonderful, it's got everything you may ever need, plus it's spacious and has 3 AC units (which you'll need in South of Peloponnesos). We especially liked the upper semi-covered balcony with the sun-beds. If you're considering visiting the Mani Region - don't look further, it's everything you might've wished for.
