Mary welcomed me with the kindest energy and I discovered a magical place, created with love, care and attention to detail. Everything is prepared to make you connect with the nature and your self. Boasting lake views, Southern County Resort provides accommodation with patio, around 13 km from Altamont Gardens. We stayed for 1 night. The cabin is located in a peaceful countryside. There are artificial lakes for fishing. The cabin is completely made of wood and makes it a special feeling. We got to see a fox in front of the cabin in the morning, it was something new and interesting for us.

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Matty's Pub - Apartment's is a recently renovated apartment situated in Carlow, 13 km from Leinster Hills Golf Club. We had the most fun and amazing stay at Matty's Pub Apartments and would totally recommend staying there. You would never meet a more friendlier bunch of local folk or a more welcoming and laid back host. It was made quite clear from the start that meals were not part of the package but were available if required close by.Matty certainly made our time in Royaloak very special.

Within 200 acres of beautiful countryside, this luxurious hotel and spa boasts an 18-hole championship golf course and a 20-metre swimming pool. I was hopeful but cautious because I'd read very mixed reviews before we went. But honestly our three nights were absolutely fantastic, the perfect rest. I can't wait to go back. The food was exceptionally well cooked with a good range of choices. The staff (especially in the dining room) could not have been more friendly, professional and personable. It went beyond what I had hoped for and I have bookmarked Mount Wolsley as a perfect getaway and retreat.

Situated in Oldleighlin, in a historic building, 12 km from Leinster Hills Golf Club, Carey's Bar & Farmhouse Kilkenny Border is an apartment with a terrace and bar. Very warm cosy clean and comfortable we were only staying 1 night on our way to Kilkenny but it was so comfortable we had a very restful night and we had freedom to do our own cooking which was ideal. Husband appreciated Guinness from Pub

Located 12 km from Athy Heritage Centre-Museum, Coolanowle Self Catering Holiday Accommodation offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a garden. We had a fantastic time, the beds were the most comfortable we had ever slept in, the houses were great and we were even able to get fresh meet and eggs right next door for our breakfast. The pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful it was. Will definitely come back
