Perched 4000 feet above sea level on a peaceful hillside is Taj Madikeri Resort & Spa Coorg. The location is exceptional. I visited Taj Madikeri during rain season and I found this experience unique and amazing. Food was delicious with local varieties. I tried extra programmes like hiking, forest walk and local guides were great and knowledgeable. I learnt a lot and enjoyed.

Zaheer and his wife are very friendly and caring people who respond immediately to all your needs. Zaheer gave very good advice about places to visit and oranized the transportation. The freshly cooked complimentary breakfast was delicious. I was happy with my 2 nights stay.

Situated within 2.5 km of Madikeri Fort and 2.8 km of Raja Seat in Madikeri, Serene Woods offers accommodation with seating area. The location was beautiful with beautiful trees and birds surrounding the room. There is an on-site restaurant that makes very good meals. The staff was the highlight of the trip - they were very attentive and helpful. They even left us a lovely present at the end of our stay. 😊
