Emilio is an exceptional great host. My boyfriend and I had a one-night stay in Palazzo Badiale on our way to Puglia and could have easily stayed longer. The nature surrounding the property is just beautiful and we enjoyed exploring it even more on our morning run. The breakfast in the morning in Emilios’s bakery is 10/10 and gave us the perfect taste of Italien delicates. I highly recommend staying here, also for longe periods when you want to unplug and relax.

The staff at LITHOS is great! They were able to accommodate early check-in and late check-out for us. The parking abundant, both free (on the street) and paid (they have a garage). The rooms are brand new, a short walk to the best things to see in Matera. Amazing stay!
