The staff are friendly and so helpful. They even called ahead for us to see if some things we wanted to do were open. We can’t wait to come back!

The food was great.. the staff was so friendly.. And the free massage after onsen was my favorite😍.. I am surely will go back..😍

Kusatsu onsen Futabaya offers accommodation in Kusatsu. There is 1 paid public bath facility and 3 free public bath facilities within a minute's walk from the property, while Yubatake is also a... The on-site private onsen was great! The rooms were very large. The location was very close to all the main attractions. Staff were very friendly and informative.

Featuring 3-star accommodation, Hotel Coco Grand is set in Takasaki, 28 km from Usui Pass Railway Heritage Park and 49 km from Kumagaya Rugby Stadium. This hotel is a comfortable dream. As soon as I came in there was such a luxerious and relaxing vibe. EVERYTHING about the room is perfect. 100% would recommend.

Located within a 5-minute walk from JR Takasaki Train Station, Hotel 1-2-3 Takasaki offers accommodations with free wired internet access. Accidentially booked a smoking room. It was not a problem to change to a non-smoking room at the woman only floor. The floor was very woman friendly with free woman products (hairband, eye mask, comb etc) and a extensive assortment of badproducts. Breakfast was oriental style. There were free drinks on the second floor, but also vending machines.

Located in Takasaki, Dormy Inn is less than a 10-minute walk from Takasaki Railway Station. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free internet access and a public bath. Great location. Friendly staff. Onsen bath in the building (great even though it’s not a real spring onsen)

Situated 35 km from Usui Pass Railway Heritage Park, 19 km from Ishidan-gai Steps and 2.5 km from Lunar Park, GUNPAKUMaebashi provides accommodation set in Sōsha. Phenomenal place for the money we paid (5 people in total, around 4k¥ per person), if we could have, we would have stayed longer. If the price doesn't increase too much over the coming years, there is no reason not to recommend this place. Easy to book, fantastic place (3 separate bedrooms, each with 2 beds), great and big dining and cooking area and even an adjacent living room. If you are in the area, go for it. Heads-up though: we had rented a car (parking space is available, more than enough), so I can't judge public transportation in this case.
