We stayed for 2 nights at Hokkoma cottage and loved our stay. The property itself was wonderful, had everything we needed and felt like home. Our trip was focused on taking advantage of Aso's beautiful nature and the cottage's location allowed us to do this. It was also great to know that there was a large bath to use after the hike to soak our tired legs!

We had such a lovely time. Impeccable all around service, location, everything! I loved the kitchen and seating area where we could wind down after a day of sightseeing and delicious food. The beds were so comfortable and calming. The surrounding neighborhood had delicious food and kind people that made us feel welcome on every corner. It was fun going to produce markets and coming back to our home away from home. Kumamoto rocks and the venue confirmed it.

The host was super sweet, showed us around and taught us to use the fire place.
