The hotel, the staff and the location were all 10/10 We booked it at a great price point and were super happy with the choice. The hotel is located in a wonderful area with a lot of shops, not so far away from the most crowded locations. The room was very spacious, comfortable and came with a washing machine. It was cleaned daily and we really enjoyed. We didn't try the breakkie, so I cannot comment on that. Would repeat stay and recommend it.

Looked like a brand new hotel, great design and finishes, super friendly staff, decent gym. Did not try spa. Value for money is exceptional !

That it has a great location, the staff is always there to help you and makes the best to make your stay incredible. The rooms were really clean and they arrange the room everyday. The hotel is located in Shijo, which was a great location very connected to everything but at the same time very calm and quiet at nite. Great balance! They also helped me shopping my luggage back to Tokyo. I felt very safe staying by myself there

A short walk to Nishiki market and everything else is in walking distance. Room was spacious and had everything we needed, staff were lovely. We will definitely stay here next time we’re in Kyoto!

In a prime location in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, NOHGA HOTEL KIYOMIZU KYOTO is located 1.1 km from Kiyomizu-dera Temple, 1.1 km from Sanjusangen-do Temple and 1.3 km from Gion Shijo... We stayed 6 nights and I cannot think of a better place to stay in Kyoto. It is NOT in the city center, so it is quiet and it IS 10min walk from Kiyomizu-dera temple complex. Actually, you can do all Higashiyama attractions by walking from the hotel. We did not use public transportation in Kyoto. Walking to the city center takes 15min from the hotel. Hotel itself is great! It offers big, clean and comfortable rooms and it also has a very pleasant lobby with bakery, so you can buy fresh bread, pastry etc. every morning. The restaurant serves great breakfasts in the morning and local IPA in the evening :-)

Close to some lovely places and within 15 minutes of the action. Loved that it had a laundry, public bath and lounge bar.

Attractively located in the Shimogyo Ward district of Kyoto, Wander Kyoto Nanajo is situated less than 1 km from TKP Garden City Kyoto, 1.8 km from Gion Shijo Station and 1.1 km from Kyoto Station. Very confortable, enough space for room and also close to kyoto station and gion. Stuff was really amazing and helpful!

Attractively situated in the centre of Kyoto, Comfort Hotel ERA Kyoto Toji features buffet breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property. This 3-star hotel offers a bar. Nicest hotel I have stayed at. Newly built everting is perfect. Free razor I forgot was appreciated. Laundry/Dryer combo machine always accessible. 10 min walk to Kyoto station for JR users. Toji station can be seen from room. Great value.

In a prime location in the Nakagyo Ward district of Kyoto, Hotel GOCO stay Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi is set 1.2 km from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall, 1.3 km from Samurai Kembu Kyoto and 1.4 km... We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Goco Stay. The bedrooms are modern, big, clean and the in-room washing machine (that even comes with layering detergent!) was so convenient. The location is great, close to the train station, bus lines and walking distance from Gion district. But the best thing about the hotel is without a doubt the staff. They went above and beyond at all times, calling multiple places to find us a tea ceremony booking, and taking care of all our forms for the Ta-Q-bin - I felt like we had a 5-star hotel level service. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.
