Set just 41 km from Kanazawa Castle, Shogawa Onsen Yumetsuzuri provides accommodation in Tonami with access to an open-air bath, a garden, as well as a lift. We are not Japanese and this place is the real deal. The learning curve was a little high at first but much of the Info is in english. We loved the two big beds, We loved the hot pools, we loved walking along the river for hours and looking at the view. There was a shuttle to take back to the shinkansen in the morning. I would come again and stay longer. I loved that the room has a big closet and a hall separating the bath from the room.

The hot bath was just amazing. While staying in Toyama we went to the Mount Tate. So after the whole day of wolking and freezing it was a pleasure to come back to Dormy Inn Toyama and to spend the evening in hot water, chilling and enjoying. The whole room is arrange very comfortable and welcoming. Having an ice after the bath and browse through some manga books was a very calming ending of a nice day. Also the breakfest is worth mentioning - very varied and delicious.

A 2-minute walk from Toyama Station, Comfort Hotel Toyama welcomes guests with complimentary coffee, free WiFi and a free breakfast buffet featuring freshly baked bread rolls. The hotel is conveniently located close to the main Toyama train station which is only a few minutes walk to the hotel. The hotel is also surrounded by lots of restaurants. The free breakfasts provided in the morning is good although you may consider it basic. If you want to rent a car for travelling afar, the Toyota Rent a Car is just directly opposite the hotel. The design of interior of the hotel is subtle and comfortable. The only downside is the insufficient car park spaces which you need to book in advance. If you can’t get one there is a multi-storey Times car park just opposite the hotel and costs the same. The hotel staff are very courteous and helpful.

Located in the Gokayama hot-spring area, Gokasanso offers Japanese and Western-style accommodations with a flat-screen TV. The staff, food and onsen were all incredible.
