The view from my room was simply amazing, overlooking a beautiful garden. The room was clean and tidy, with all the necessary amenities. The service staff were friendly and professional, always ready to assist. The hotel also has a well - equipped fitness center, which is perfect for those who like to stay active during their travels.

I felt at home from the moments I stepped in the Garden House! Immaculate clean apartment, very large space. The hostess is the warmest person I have met in the whole SE Asia. She has hired very service minded staff and they are always ready to help. I got so much better service than if I had checked in a regular hotel. We really appreciate we were assigned a ground floor apartment so my husband didn’t have to climb many stairs with his bad knees. We also have been served the best breakfast we have had in whole Laos. Delicious and always freshly made. Homemade jams and homemade soy milk! We couldn’t ask for more. Definitely a place to recommend to everyone I know. P.S. you are welcome to pick fruits and veggies from the garden - it is a lovely thing we were allowed to do.

The Luang Say Residence is an absolutely stunning hotel and a perfect place to stay while exploring Luang Prabang, Laos. We had such a memorable experience, thanks to the impeccable service, warm atmosphere, and beautifully maintained grounds. The property itself is gorgeous: a peaceful oasis with lush gardens, a sparkling pool, and a serene atmosphere that invites you to unwind. Breakfast is served at the scenic on-site restaurant with views over the gardens. We highly recommend trying the traditional Lao soup: the local chili oil was a delicious touch! Our room was spacious, elegant, and extremely comfortable. The four-poster bed, cozy sitting area, and luxurious full bathroom made us feel completely spoiled. The turndown service and soft robes were just the cherry on top. Every detail was taken care of, from the helpful shuttle service into town to the availability of tuk-tuks, laundry services, and anything else we needed. What truly makes the Luang Say Residence special is its people: warm, attentive, and full of heart. We’re so grateful for our stay and would absolutely love to return someday!

Timeless elegance and breathtaking views of Mount Phousi—La Résidence Phou Vao is Luang Prabang’s most serene and storied royal retreat. Flawless. A perfect stay. The staff is amazing, the hotel is beautiful, food is fantastic. Rooms are comfortable, spa therapies are excellent. We really had a wonderful time at this wonderful hotel. But again, I have to say… the incredible staff makes a difference!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft sehr genossen. Das Hotel liegt direkt am lebhaften Morning Market, dennoch ist es sehr ruhig. Die Gastgeber sind äußerst herzlich, hilfreich und zuvorkommend! Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet und das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Sollten wir eines Tages wieder nach Laos reisen werden wir sehr gerne wieder im Golden Lotus Boutique Hotel unser Quartier beziehen :)

We’ll within the cultural district to enjoy the heritage of Luang Prabang and close enough to the central market and many other restos. The management was very hands on with making sure I was comfortable and I had everything I need. Super helpful staff always with a smile on their face! The bfast and free coffee was great value too.
