EVERYTHING - Manu and his wife Shishi and the house dogs were the best! we felt at home, Manu went fishing and cooked us fresh crabs, shrimps, fish more than we can eat at a very fair price. he also went fishing in the next morning again and cooked us fresh lobsters in the morning free of charge because he didnt have lobsters the night before. he is just too kind and giving. we played card games all night as a family:) rooms are clean and beds are comfy. also hot shower! dont leave this place without eating the seafood!

Igabara Hobbit House has free bikes, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Tangalle. This 4-star hotel offers room service and babysitting service. We had a amazing stay at the hobbit house. The owner and his mother were incredibly kind and helpful. We had a lot of questions during our stay and always got immediate help. The homemade breakfast was one of the best we had. Also the room is just absolutely beautiful and unique.

Quiet place, nice breakfast and comfy room with good hot water shower (which is not easy to have in most of places we stayed in Sri Lanka). It only takes 3-5 mins to walk to the stunning beach. We even had amazing turtle watch seeing turtle laying eggs at evening.

Each room had air conditioning private bathroom, plenty of space, and super comfortable beds. On the day of arrival, our host took us to a beautiful lakeside spot to watch birds and bats waking up at sunset, followed by a delicious dinner and a tasty breakfast the next morning – the food here is truly worth recommending. The entire staff was incredibly kind, always smiling and very helpful, even dropping us off at the bus for our next destination. If we could have stayed longer, we absolutely would – highly recommended!
