The apartment was very spacious, in an excellent location by the water and in the middle of the village. We like to cook our own meals when we travel and this place made this possible with a huge, well-equipped kitchen. It had everything needed for meal preparation. This apartment had a front door and a back door with a picnic table right outside. Inside was a huge kitchen table and comfortable living room seating facing the water front. We loved the fact that we could walk out this back door and enjoy the beautiful harbor and fjord. Another plus was that there was a super market a couple of minutes walk away. We would love to stay here again.

The Senja Fjordhotel is a tucked away in the extreme south of the island on the shores of a small fjord. Its very modern as only built 5-6 years ago so was very comfortable with high end fittings. The room was plenty big for both of us and had a nice dual aspect view over the fjord and small boat jetty. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Its a small boutique type hotel and the staff vere very friendly and professional and gave some good tips on local activities. Breakfats each morning was excellent as was the evening dinner. The beauty of the location is that the only thing to do is enjoy nature, we got in some swims and hike in the national park so really enjoyed our three days there

Skagi Bed is located in Skaland at the west coast of Senja island, close to viewpoints and main attractions for travellers. Cozy place and the food was a 10/10 score. The owner was such a good person. Would definitely recommend staying there if you’re planning a stay in that area.
