The room is extremely cozy! It has some features such as a minibar and television in the room. Extremely practical check-in. The location is in a very quiet area, at least in autumn, but perhaps it can be busier during the summer.

Really lovely decor inside, beautiful views and very peaceful. I was pleasantly surprised as, when approaching the hotel from outside, I wasn’t sure what to expect inside! Great breakfast and the evening meals was delicious! The staff were excellent - high service levels and very friendly.

Boasting lake views, Hytta på Øyfjell features accommodation with an open-air bath and a patio, around 30 km from Eidsborg Stave Church. We spent 10 days on vacation with the family and chose a forest by the lake instead of the sea. The stay was wonderful – peaceful nature, fresh forest air, and a jacuzzi by the cabin with a view of the mountains and lake made it a perfect place to relax. The cabin is fully equipped for a longer stay. We drove 11 km to a nearby town for water and groceries. The host was very kind, always responded quickly, and helped with any questions. It’s a great place to recharge.
