It is out of town, which I was specifically looking for to maximise my prospect of seeing the northern lights. On my first night I received a message from the host telling me to go outside as the lights had made an appearance. I was so grateful! While the location might be a little out of Tromso, there are very regular buses which go right past the property (and run quite late), and it’s also an easy drive in. The washing machine and dryer were a big bonus.

The host Rico was possibly the most accommodating and friendliest host I've ever met. He met us at the property was showed us around got us a bottle of wine, and was always there if we needed anything. The property was spotless, warm, had amazing views, amazing amenities, close to the bus. Best place ever!

It is a perfect apartment in a perfect location.. just about a 5/6 minute walk to the centre of Tromso. Tromso itself is a great city with lots to do there.. I saw the midnight sun and went to Sommarøy (public transport.. the tourist information office will tell you about it). The Nitty Gritty is a lovely bar/ food place with lovely staff. The apartment is situated very close to the big bridge, the artic cathedral and the cable car (all of them a 10 minutes walk away). When you arrive at the airport it’s very easy to get a bus (€10) to the centre and for Vervet you get off at the last stop! The apartment itself is spotlessly clean and has everything you need. I travelled down to Bergen on the Havila.. not to be missed.. All in all 100/100. I can’t wait to come back.

Featuring lake views, Northern Light Apartments - Nyholmen Luxury Penthouse A provides accommodation with a balcony, around 700 metres from The Fram Centre. Everything! The apartment is located just next to the sea, making the view from the apartment breath taking. The hosts were very kind and helpful. Our flight was delayed and therefore we reached the apartment late at night. I had some difficulty looking for the keys, but Mihka was kind enough to answer my phone call in the dead of the night and walk me through to the key box. We were also allowed to leave the luggage in the apartment during the check out and collect it later. In a nutshell- the best stay ever!

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Kings Park - High End City Apartment is situated in Tromsø. Everything about the place was great. We primarily booked based on location and because there was a washer in the apartment. Laundry supplies were provided and the heated floors were great for drying the clothes quickly.
