This lodge is just amazing! The rooms are very comfortable, the owners are very kind, the facilities are of high quality (over 300 DVDs, an arcade video game from the 90's, books and games), and the breakfast is excellent! Very well located also if you want to take a cruise from Kaiteriteri to hike in Abel Tasman National Park.

Set in Marahau, 300 metres from Marahau Beach, Adventure Inn Marahau offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and barbecue facilities. amazing hostel to stay. Good vibes around. Take few nights to enjoy everything the hostel is offering. There is live music some evenings, cinema, pool tables, nice garden, friendly staff and the owner. I made a lot of new friends there.

Waitapu Springs B&B is set in Takaka and features a spa and wellness centre and a shared lounge. This 3-star bed and breakfast features a spa experience, with its sauna and hot tub. Everything was just so sweet in this Bed and Breakfast! The owners are super nice and welcoming and it’s clean and just so comfy and just a great atmosphere. We had the spa almost to ourselves and loved it! It’s just gorgeous and was perfect for us after hiking quite a lot!

Offering free WiFi and free on-site bus and car parking, Mohua Motels is located in Takaka. All accommodation offers a patio, fully equipped kitchenette and mountain and garden views. The owners were really interested in their guests, friendly and approachable for any discussion or questions. The location and facilities met our expectations, such that everything was provided to allow us to self cater. Centrally located with the shops and supermarket all within an easy walk. I would recommend people visiting the Takaka area to stay at this motel.

Located in Takaka, 10 minutes' drive from the beach, The Rocks Chalets features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. Free private parking is available on site. It was very clean and well set out vis-à-vis beds, table, chairs etc.
