Lovely boutique hotel in a nice garden
Quiet and peaceful despite the chaos of Huarez
We took the option of a 2 bedroom bungalow sharing with our friends rather than 2 separate rooms and appreciated the space and the full kitchen .

One of the best properties I have stayed in - Zarela and the rest of the staff were incredibly kind and she had very helpful advice about the various hikes available around Huaraz given our tight schedule. The Thai food is absolutely delicious and we ate dinner there every night after a long day of hiking, breakfast is very tasty too. The hotel is in a quieter area of town and is beautifully designed, with a mountaineering theme to inspire you to explore the mountains around.
Our triple room was clean and tidy, nice bathroom with good water pressure and plenty of hot water! There are several nice communal areas to relax in after your hike, including a couple outdoor terraces
We loved our time at Casa de Zarela, we felt really comfortable and welcome and we will definitely be back!

Beautiful view of the cityscape and the backdrop of the lush Andean mountains. An easy 5 minute walk downtown. Spacious room, with a huge comfortable bed, a balcony and a bathroom with all desired ammenities.
The staff was very polite, friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were delicious.
Also, the place was fantastic value for money.
