The breakfast was very good, a lot of variety. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. They did a very good thing in the renovation, it looks very good for an very old cloister. The best thing about the hotel is the spa. We booked a massage (very reasonable prices for a 5 Star hotel, not overpriced) and Vania just has magic fingers. The reception also told us that she won a price with her work, no surprise. If you ever stay here book a massage, i can really recommend.

The hotel lobby was beautiful and our room equally so. LOVED the concept of the marble books throughout the bathroom area. Bed - amazing. Pillows - like a cloud (as Lara promised!) Breakfast buffet was far beyond the basic pastries at other hotels; and the ability to order scrambled eggs was a real treat. And the food was so fresh and beautifully presented. And your staff provided the best customer service we ever experienced. Lara was so professional, yet warm and engaging, taking the time to answer questions about Coimbra and give us a short history about the hotel itself. Ana Jesus was also lovely; quick to help however she could.

Amazing surroundings around the hotel, with beautiful views from the room as well. The breakfast was delicious, offering plenty of options to choose from—buffet-style on the weekend, while on Monday they took orders for eggs and pancakes. The beds were very comfortable, and we were offered free parking in the garage. The outdoor jacuzzi and indoor saunas were great. The staff at the reception were very welcoming, and the sangria at the hotel bar was delicious.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the area. The personnel were incredibly friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. The room was very comfortable and impeccably clean. The hotel excided our expectations! Easy to get with the codes for access. They just sent us two codes - from the front door and from our apartment. Right in the center of the city. Ultra modern, spotlessly clean, very comfortable. We had a big room with fully equipped kitchen and a bedroom. There are air conditioners, TVs, fridge, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, stove and even dish washer! Great bathroom, lots of extra towels. It's a great choice for stop when traveling around Portugal.
