The view is fabulous! The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The staff is professional and very friendly. Good breakfast. The hotel is very quiet as there are only 8 rooms, all with river view. It’s my second time here and I have already booked my next stay.

The staff was wonderful. The room was on the smaller side but very tastefully done with efficient use of space. Breakfast was outstanding.

Octant Douro located in Vista Alegre, Castelo de Paiva. Offering a stunning infinity pool the hotel overlooks the Douro River blending itself with the surrounding nature. The view from our room was amazing. The staff were amicable and professional. We took the boat tour on the Douro, which was relaxing and scenic. We would definitely go back again to the Octant Douro.

Beautiful hotel, very big rooms and very clean. The facilities were great, enjoyed the spa to the fullest. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Also, breakfast was amazing, even better than what was expected!

Situated in Castelo de Paiva, 41 km from Santa Maria da Feira Castle, CASA DAS FONTELAS features accommodation with an infinity pool, free private parking, a garden and barbecue facilities. We loved the reception by Mrs Julia, who was very kind and friendly. She gave us tips on restaurants nearby. We also enjoyed the wineyard at the bottom of the hotel and that we were allowed to walk around at any time. The place is very calm and quiet, perfect for a escape from the city hustle and bustle. Mr Jose was also of extreme kindness setting us up with a lovely boat tour through Douro on my bday. We had just asked where we could arrange for the tour and he went all the way calling the person and helping us organize. Breakfast was delicious and all the staff was really attentive. We highly recommend a stay with them!

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a rooftop pool, garden view and a balcony, QUINTA DA FAÍSCA - Agro Turismo is located in Favaios. Such a beautiful spot with great design apartments and the perfect pool. Fernanda the manager was also so nice - her wine tour was the best we ever had, with personal anecdotes and passion. Wine not bad either :-)

A recently renovated bed and breakfast in Alijó, Quinta da Costinha offers sun terrace, private parking and sports facilities. The property was beautiful and the staff was very helpful. Comfort, cleanliness, everything we may ask for.
