The room was not big, but we very much liked what we got, and the large bed was very comfortable. The location is ideal for those enjoying to walk about on the narrow and quiet cobble stone streets of the old city. The staff was very friendly and accomodating.

This charming hotel is in Visby’s medieval town centre, 400 metres from the Destination Gotland Ferry Terminal. It features 13th-century vaulted ceilings, an on-site restaurant and free WiFi. Loved the spa and pool. We left for the airport at 4am, and the staff very kindly offered us a breakfast doggy bag to take with us.

Best Western Solhem Hotel is een rustige accommodatie op slechts 8 minuten wandelen van de haven en de veerhaven van Visby. De locatie was zeer mooi gelegen aan de buitenkant van het oude deel van de stad en heel dicht tegen de haven. De kamer was proper en de badkamer voldeed ook aan alle verwachtingen.

Good location and car parking available onsite. Service was good and friendly. Rooms are practical and met our expectations. Nice pool and available activities like mini golf. Nice view from hotel.

Our stay at Hotel Slottsbacken was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was cozy and well-designed, creating a comfortable atmosphere. Breakfast was outstanding – fresh, varied, and delicious. We also appreciated the complimentary coffee and glögg available at the reception throughout the day. We were so satisfied that we have already booked again for next year. Highly recommended!
