The room was spacious and well appointed. The staff could not have been nicer. We were staying off season so the restaurant was closed but we were on a walking tour and there are no towns really nearby so the staff whipped us up something from the kitchen stores and it was wonderful!

Waking up to birdsong, sitting on the balcony with views over fields and the sea in the background. I was sorry I could only stay one night. Very nice and healthy breakfast. The cheese pancakes were lovely. The owner and staff were so friendly and helpful.

Hopefully will return but for more than one night!

Delicious breakfast. Absolutely recommended dinner with 4 portions at the hotel restaurant, try starters too!

Bäckaskog Slott is beautifully situated between the lakes Oppmannasjön and Ivösjön. A monastery was built here in the 13th century and was later converted in to a castle in the 17th century. How could one not love sleeping in a CASTLE!? Beautiful castle, furnishings, and grounds. The staff at the front desk was warm, welcoming, and attentive. Breakfast in the stables was charming and tasty.

Gårdsboende, a property with a garden and a terrace, is set in Skårby, 28 km from Tomelilla Golfklubb, 48 km from University of Lund, as well as 1.7 km from Ystad Zoo. A lovely place in the countryside, perfect for my family - 2 adults and 2 children. The owner was welcoming and had everything we needed, the place was perfect - a roomy, modern kitchen, a comfortable bed, lovely clean linens (which we rented from the owner), and everything was clean.
