You may need 15-20 minutes of light walk to the city centre. Large shopping centres are near the apartment. Bakeries and smaller shops are available nearby. The host is very pleasant and at disposal at any time.

Set in peaceful surroundings, 4 km from the centre of Maribor and 1.5 km from the highway exit Maribor-Vzhod, the Hotel Vila Emei offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. I stayed to this hotel while transiting trough Slovenia. The hotel was close to the autostrada , very clean. There was a Chinese restaurant next to the hotel that was excellent for dinner. Very big portions. The hotel breakfast had lots of options, the staff speaker English and toke care of all my needs. I would definitely stop there again.

She communicated with us clearly before arrival, and checked in on us during our stay. Explanation of how to enter was detailed and clear. Upon arriving, we found gifts of fruit, sweets, juices, and other gifts everywhere. This was truly exceptional. The bed is comfortable, linens plentiful, and the apartment was equipped as if it was actually a home. Parking was easy and safe, right below the apartment entrance. Several supermarkets are a short walk from the apartment. We like to walk, and it took us about 45 minutes to walk to the center.
